Kadiri Babu Rao College of Agriculture, C.S.Puram, Kanigiri was established in the year 2016 as one of the Affiliated colleges of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University to provide quality agricultural education at Under Graduate level. The primary objectives of establishing the College was to fulfill the interests of the aspiring students of Andhra Pradesh in pursuit of career in agriculture and to create a learning and service centre for extending the futuristic technologies in the field of agriculture to the farmers of the region for adoption.
Goals & Objectives
- To impart agricultural education at Graduate level.
- To render extension of modern technologies in the field of agriculture to the local populace.
- To create awareness about new low input high output technologies to the local farmers.
- To bring agricultural education and counseling to the local farming community much nearer.
- To produce quality seed of field crops (Rice, Redgram, Blackgram, Greengram, Mesta, Sunnhemp etc.) of region to cater to the needs of the farmers of Andhra region.
